We’ve heard of nacho fries and dessert nachos — but this might cross a very sacred line.

Olive Garden just introduced a new menu item just in time for the Super Bowl: loaded pasta chips, AKA Italian pasta nachos. Delicious, yes, but quite controversial.

These homemade pasta chips — made from cut sheets of lasagna — are lightly fried and smothered in Italian cheeses and a hearty meat sauce, then topped with cherry peppers and an Alfredo drizzle.

It’s a drool-worthy dish, no doubt, but one that’s bound to make nacho purists feel sharply conflicted.
