Have you ever met a dog that seemed a bit plumper than you’d expect?
Maybe they’re tiny and the few extra pounds look like more than they are, or perhaps they have a lot of mane that constructs them show bigger than they are. Or perhaps they’re simply … a bit overweight.
According to Caters, the name of the dog below is Abby. This adorable 7-year-old Cavalier King Charles spaniel couldn’t hide her 50 -pound weight in, so she transformed instead.
As a small dog, her 50 pounds was pretty much impossible to disguise. So, when Brittney Wilk rescued her last year, she decided to change the pup’s life in more lanes than one.
Clearly, the snacking lifestyle was not doing anything but harm to this beautiful dog. That’s why Brittney decided to treat her health the same way she’d treat her own: She threw Abby on a diet and built her exert on an underwater treadmill six days a week.
After this new lifestyle went into effect, Abby transformed into a much healthier and happier version of herself. “Shes lost” 28 pounds, and now seems more adorable than ever.
My grandfather has a dog named Angel, but we often call her “Meatball” because she’s feed so many — and because she has started to resemble one! Maybe this water exert is the fixing for our own puppy. Just look at Abby go in the video below.
