A family hasn’t had this much trouble with a wedding since the Starks.
Just a day after we learned Meghan Markle‘s father had to have heart surgery following the stress from a staged photo scandal, the sister who set up the whole thing is having her own paparazzi problems.
TMZ reports Meghan’s estranged half-sister Samantha Markle was hospitalized with a possible broken ankle and fractured knee on Wednesday after what her boyfriend Mark is calling a “paparazzi confrontation” in their home state of Florida.

He says the couple were driving when a pap suddenly pulled into the lane in front of him to get a photo, causing him to swerve — and crash into a concrete barrier.
Samantha, who is battling MS, hit the windshield then fell to the floor with her leg twisted backward. Mark says he drove her straight to the ER.
He claims the photog drove away from the scene. It’s unclear how he was sure the car was paparazzi and not just another Florida driver.
A story like that really shows you the merit of staging fake candids… Well, we certainly wish Samantha a speedy recovery.
