Rob Lowe messed with sasquatch and lived to tell the tale.
The Parks and Recreation star opened up about his new reality show The Lowe Files, in which he and his sons Matthew and John Owen( above) explore hauntings, alien abductions, and urban legends around America.

It’s like if Mulder and Scully were three hot dudes … OK, interested…
We don’t know if Lowe was selling the depict a little too hard or if he really believes this stuff, but he tells EW that after filming he buys it more than he ever did before:
“Based on my experiences on the prove, especially around phantoms utterly. We captured some unbelievable[ footage ]. Our first episode is about poltergeists in one of the most notoriously haunted arrangements in America. Nothing is staged , “theres nothing” trick-cut no B.S. I believe there are probably specters out there. The remainder of[ what we received I accepted on a] case-by-case basis, but we had an incredible encounter with what locals call the timber ape, which is in the Ozark Mountains. I’m fully aware that I sound like a crazy, Hollywood kook right now.”
A “wood ape” is another name for a bigfoot, something Lowe is quick to laugh about 😛 TAGEND
“This is what I love about our show. We have fun with all of this. We hit the bullseye between true disciple and skeptic in a fun behavior.[ The locals] talk to you about the wood ape in all seriousness. If you call it a Bigfoot or a Sasquatch, they roll their eyes as if that makes it less outrageous.”
But that semantic silliness gave style to real frightens, according to Lowe, who says 😛 TAGEND
“I was lying on the ground reasoning I was going to be killed.”
Seriously ?? He pesters a bit of the story…
“We’re 100 miles from the nearest township. We spent 45 minutes on the most rugged, brutal mountain trails. It’s 1 in the morning. There are a lot of serious former military men with loaded weapons, then something starts approaching our camps that is defying their orders to stop and their admonishings that[ they were] armed.”
BUT obviously he mentions we’ll have to wait and watch the episode to see how close the thing got. Taunt!

“I’m aroused to see this blow out[ online] and understand people be like, ‘Rob Lowe lost his mind! ‘”
Um, bargain?
