He then approached the driver to “speak to him about his reckless driving” before getting flipped the bird by a passenger. Chevy says it was only then he said:
“If I were a lot younger I’d bust your nose.”
At which point the driver got out and kicked him. Buuuut the driver, 22-year-old Michael Landrio, says it went down a little differently.
He told Page Six Chevy swerved all over the road and followed them the entire length of the bridge before blocking their car to get them to pull over.
He says Chevy came at him shouting:
“You know who the fuck I am?”
and
“I am going to ruin your lives!”
According to Landrio’s account, when he was told “Fuck you,” the comedy legend pulled open the door to attack him, and he backed up — kicking out in self defense — before locking his door until .
We’re no detectives, but the fact Chevy got kicked in the shoulder lends a little more credence to Landrio’s story. Unless the UPS driver is also a black belt or something.
Landrio was charged with 2nd degree harassment with physical contact over the incident. Chevy got a much harsher punishment — he was told the driver had no idea who he was, even after the police told him:
“I looked him up on Google and I still didn’t know who he was. He didn’t look like he looked when he made his movies.”
That’s worse than a kick for some people!
