While some find it easy to talk about mental health issues issues, for many boys, it can still be difficult.
Too often they are “toughing it out, ” maintaining their feelings to themselves. That means they are suffering in silence something Australian charity organisation Movember has decided to point out in a new campaign.
Its heartbreakingly powerful video, “Suicide notes talk too late, ” gets right to the core of the issue. In the video, we hear from a number of men who have written suicide notes, but who are still here today all thanks to simply talking about how they’re feeling.
The video has been released in the lead up to World Suicide Prevention Day on Sep. 10.
If you want to talk to someone or are experiencing suicidal imagines, in the U.S. you are able to text the Crisis Text Line at 741 -7 41 or call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255. In Australia, contact on 13 11 14 or on 1300 659 467. For international resources, this list is a good place to start . em>
